The Worship Ministry is comprised of several individual ministries which work together to provide a rich and joyous worship experience at Christ Church.

Acolytes are children and young people trained to assist the clergy during the service and to lead the processions into and out of the church.

The Altar Guild prepares and maintains all the altar linens, hangings, vessels, and the clergy’s vestments before each service. They decorate the chancel for major feasts and holy days.
Lectors & Eucharistic Ministry

Lectors are trained to read the first and second readings, the psalm, and lead the Prayers of the People during worship.
Lay Eucharist Minister is licensed by the Bishop to this ministry and assists in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist by administering the chalice to worshipers.

The Music Ministry provides training for our ensemble. The ensemble provides occasional musical leadership for the congregation in music at the 9:30 A.M. service and at all services on Holy Days. Rehearsals for the ensemble choir are held on Sunday mornings after worship.

Those involved with this ministry are responsible for scheduling ushers for each Sunday worship service as well as training those volunteers wishing to participate in this ministry.
