• Will I fit in?
• Is Christ Church a formal church?
• I have never been in an Anglican church, how will I know what to do?
If you have been considering visiting Christ Church, but let these or other questions stop you, please come and “try us out” on any Sunday.
The people of Christ Church are friendly and desire to make your visit a Blessed one. You will not be singled out in an embarrassing way, nor asked to stand before the congregation nor to come forward. You will worship God with us.
If you are unsure why we are doing something just ask your neighbor or ask the rector following the service. We also have a weekly bulletin that has that day’s liturgy printed out along with instructions on when to sit and when to stand or kneel.
All baptized Christians are welcome to to come to the altar (stand or kneel) and receive Holy Communion; those who have not been baptized are invited to come to the alter and receive a blessing.
At Christ Church we are sure you will find us to be a small, comfortable church that is proud to display the beauty of worship in the warmth of community. Our building isn’t so large that you will get lost; in fact you may find yourself guiding other visitors for our coffee hour the next week.
Still wondering if you will fit in?
Don’t… at Christ Church everyone is welcome.
